Children's writing

I've been on sabbatical from writing for children due to other interests of late, but consider myself very fortunate to have co-authored a couple of picture books with my good friend and writing buddy, Kitty Griffin Lagorio.  Both titles were published by Clarion Books, a Houghton-Mifflin imprint, and illustrated by a fabulous artist named Mike Wohnoutka. Cowboy Sam was born in 2001 and received a starred review from Publisher's Weekly.  Clementine Sweet was born in 2004 and is still stomping around bookshelves.
