We rescued Stella on December 15, 2010.  She was about 9 months old and had sought refuge in an old box spring mattress at the edge of some woods near Katy, Texas.  We aren't sure how long she was on her own, but she's quite ferrel.  She loves to go out at night and catch frogs and moths and June bugs.
